What is the power of a wilding retreat?
Let’s start with what ‘wilding’ is for. According to Sussex Wildlife Trust wilding aims ‘to restore natural processes and healthy ecological functions so that nature can take care of itself without the need for human intervention.’
As humans are part of nature too, I’d suggest wilding is also about ‘restoring our own internal processes and functions so we can better take care of ourselves.’
Last weekend was the first ‘Wildling Day’ retreat led by myself and Karen Liebenguth. It was about restoring people AND nature. It took place at Knepp Wilding with a share of proceeds going to the work of Knepp Wildland Foundation who are restoring nature across Sussex.
It was FANTASTIC!
Don’t take my word for it – here are some things people said about it.
💚 “A beautiful venue to let go and reflect”
💚 “This mindful, energising and revealing retreat from Karen and James was spectacular”
💚 “Nourishing and restorative”
💚 “An inspirational day in an inspirational location”
💚 “This is a wonderful gift you can give to yourself”
We will be running one Wilding Day per season. The next one is in November, and is available to book now. We are opening our doors to Coaches, Therapists and Leaders, and there are early bird rates available.
